GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR A NATIONAL ORGANIZATION - The Phoenix Academy of Maine is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Substance Abuse Counselor to work with adolescents with co-occurring disorders in a residential treatment facility. This position requires working evenings and weekends.

This exciting position is perfect for the caring individual who wants to make a difference in the life of an adolescent. As a Substance Abuse Counselor you will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients and providing sound, therapeutic treatment. LADC or CADC required. Education Requirements
Knowledge obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LADC or CADC Preferred - Demonstrable pursuit of certification with timetable for achievement is acceptable.
