The MAPSA Scholarship Fund was established in 2004, through a generous donation from the Maine Federation/Greater Federated Women's Club. Katherine White, GFWC Maine Immediate Past President, spearheaded the GFWC donation, to "make our communities a better place to live by participating, supporting and promoting the benefits gained from the education and awareness of substance abuse." This funding is restricted to women seeking education and training related to the effects of substance abuse and addictions on communities and families.
