MASAP is a statewide organization of prevention, treatment and recovery programs that provides the majority of OSA licensed services in Maine. MASAP's member agencies represent the full continuum of alcohol and other drug abuse and addiction services, from prevention, through treatment and recovery services.

Our members provide emergency care, shelter, inpatient treatment and residential rehabilitation, intensive and outpatient counseling and other services, including methadone treatment, a statewide prevention network and a statewide recovery community. We serve all of Maine's citizens across the lifespan from kids to adolescents to seniors who are at risk for or are experiencing chemical dependence, whether it is alcohol or other drugs.

We work with families, individuals, communities and other state and local agencies and coalitions to deal with the ever increasing epidemic of alcohol and other drug use and abuse in Maine.
